Program Title: AFMC HQ LAN/PC Support Contract
Contract Work Description: OTS has tasking in the following areas for Systems and Communications Group of the AFMC Headquarters:
* Local Area Network Administration
OTS has technical and management personnel assigned for the overall operational responsibility for the following:
Maintenance and Operations and Specialized Support Services of the multi-building HQ AFMC LAN.
LAN Project Management.
LAN engineering, design/redesign of RF and Digital communication equipment and infrastructure.
Procurement, installation, maintenance and monitoring of LAN equipment
Inventory and database of LAN equipment/spares.
Remedial and Preventative Maintenance of the Infrastructure and LAN equipment.
Certification of the Broadband and Ethernet LANs
Router configuration management and maintenance
Installation of fiber optics, Cat 5 twisted pair, Gigabit routers Ethernet and broadband cables.
Installation of Classified and non-classified networks.
Installation and relocation of switches, concentrators, hubs, routers, muxes, modems, NIUs
Network monitoring and statistics of the HQ AFMC LAN infrastructure, using Spectrum, Cisco Works, AT View, Ungermann Bass Netdirector, Netdetect and IronView.
Management of all TCP-IP address in the HQ LAN complex.
OTS uses fully certified and qualified engineers to manage, configure, and operate the network devices in support of this highly complex campus environment.
